Privacy

Last updated 30 August 2026

This statement describes how Datalinc Pty Ltd handles personal information in connection with WooTF. It is written with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in mind. It is general information, not legal advice.

Who we are

WooTF is provided by Datalinc Pty Ltd, ABN 28 682 714 030, Surry Hills NSW, Australia. We are GST-registered. We are not affiliated with the Australian Taxation Office.

This marketing site

wootf.com is a static marketing site served via Cloudflare. Like most sites, request logs may include IP address, user agent, referring URL, and timestamps. Cloudflare may process that telemetry to operate the network, including security and DDoS protection. We do not run a marketing pixel or a comments form on this site.

Checkout and site keys

Subscriptions and site keys are handled on api.wootf.com, not on this marketing site. Payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the card details you enter; we do not see full card numbers. Depending on what you provide at checkout, that flow may include your name, email address, billing address, and payment status. Site keys are issued so the WooCommerce plugin can issue documents for one GST-registered site.

ABR lookups

When a merchant (or a checkout ABN field) submits an Australian Business Number, we send that ABN to the Australian Business Register to confirm entity details and GST registration. We do not claim that a customer owns the ABN they typed. The ABR GUID stays on our Worker; it is not shipped in the plugin.

Where PDFs and order details live

Tax invoice and adjustment note PDFs render on the merchant’s WordPress / WooCommerce install. Order personal information (customer names, addresses, line items) is not hosted by Datalinc for those PDFs. If a merchant’s WordPress site is compromised, that is the merchant’s environment — not this marketing site.

Why we handle information

We handle personal information to:

Disclosure

We use service providers to run the product. That includes Cloudflare (this site and our Worker) and Stripe (checkout). The ABR receives ABNs we look up. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if Australian law requires it.

Overseas storage

Cloudflare and Stripe operate globally. Personal information they process on our behalf may be stored or accessed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to deal with reputable providers. We do not control every location in those networks.

Access, correction, and retention

You may ask us for access to personal information we hold about you, or to correct it, subject to the Privacy Act. We keep records only as long as needed for the service, our own tax records, and legal requirements, then delete or de-identify them where practical.

Complaints

If you have a privacy complaint, write to Datalinc Pty Ltd, Australia, and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). The OAIC is the independent regulator for the Privacy Act.

How to contact us
